Liquid Eclipse: Home Sweet Home
Welcome to LIQUID-ECLIPSE.COM the 'Official' Website devoted to the vision of experimental musician Dale Pantalione and his band Liquid Eclipse!
THE LATEST NEWS....
2007-2008 was a great year for Liquid Eclipse fans, with all the hype and news of a new album titled "the Elements"--released on Elsewhere Records 9/11/07, and the great live shows that followed.
The sales of "the Elements" and downloads on various online MP3 sites were quite staggering from the start and continue to sell in large quantities--thanks to all of you who made this release and the brief tour a success. The fans have been great and so have the reviews.
2008-09 was a productive year for Dale in the studio. He also released "Sadways", an orchestral track that was a teaser from the indefinitely shelved classical project "Cepi Corpus".
2009 saw the re-release and re-mastered edition of Liquid Eclipse's classic album from 2001-"Plagued By Phases". The album was widely downloaded online at iTunes and featured previously unreleased tracks and mixes and revamped artwork.
Other extracurricular projects included the band Survivors of the Constant Wreckage. A trio that consists of Joe Taylor on guitar, John Milone on drums and Dale Pantalione on bass. The results of their jams have been recorded but an album has yet to be released.
Dale also collaborated on a handful of films for Kent Green and Ernie Rockelman at Emerald Productions and you can read about that by clicking here: www.emerald-productions.com/
"A DRIFT"
At the moment Dale is writing and recording a bunch of songs that will make up "A Drift"--the long awaited follow-up to "the Elements" as well as some exciting projects that will see release in 2010.
"A Drift" hopes to pick up where "the Elements" left off--but it will not be "the Elements Part 2"...leaving the organic sound structures from that album and going for a more progressive driven spaced-out vibe, the new Liquid Eclipse album hopes to be far more ambitious, and a slight return to the band's earlier sound, and full of collaborations with other musicians.
Dale is also helping promote the latest solo release from rock legend Paul Gurvitz. Paul has released a fantastic new album called "Sweetheart Land". Dale has been a longtime fan of Paul Gurvitz's music and bass playing and especially likes this new acoustic album. We will post more about it soon in the meantime visit Paul's site to order: www.paulgurvitz.com
I hope everyone likes the new look and feel of the new site. Be sure to browse around there is plenty to read, see and hear--and be sure to make your prescence known by signing the guestbook. Enjoy!
